Abdou Samake sets a milestone in finishing his undergrad journey

Son of Mamadou & Christine Abdoulaye, Abdou Samake was enrolled in the School of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan. He took his education seriously as he pursued his career in football and the bright superstar finished his undergraduate from the University of Michigan.

What Samake believed in was to set your goals with your heart, make your plans with your head, because goals set with the head rarely satisfy, and plans made with the heart often fail. 4 years in the works and undergraduate journey in the books for Abdou.  With friends, family adventures, discoveries, this will last a lifetime for Abdou.

At Michigan, he achieved in football as:

  • All-Big Ten Tournament Team (2019)
  • Three-time Academic All-Big Ten (2017-19)
  • U-M Athletic Academic Achievement (2017-18)

 The Canadian defender signs his first professional contract with Pacific FC following his collegiate career in Michigan.
